We at Hart Land Real

Lisa & Michael opened
Hart Land Real Estate in 1991, moved to La
Grange in 1993 and officially opened the La Grange
office in 1995 after purchasing & renovating the
building at 104 S. Main St. Lisa is a La
Grange native and has many ties to the area.

Grange has always been home to me. Being a

Lisa
has been a licensed real estate agent since 1980 and
a licensed real estate broker since 1984. She opened
her first office in 1981 specializing in rural
subdivision sales and development and has been
active in the real estate business ever since. She
worked in Houston for many years selling residential
real estate before moving "back home to the
country".
"Here in the country you
have to know every aspect of the real estate
business including commercial. People want to
know exactly what they are getting, how deep the
well is, types of soil and grass and who can build a
good fence."
We cover a multi-county
area and need to know land and home values in many
different real estate markets. Our combined
knowledge will get you the answers you need to make
the best possible real estate decision.

Two words sum up Michael
Corker, "community service". Since
moving to La Grange Michael has been active in
Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, La Grange Main Street,
LGISD, and La Grange Leadership & La Grange
Community Development Council. He is the
Foundation President of the newly constructed St.
Mark's Medical Center and board member of National
Bank & Trust. Honors include Daughters of the
American Revolution Award for Excellence in
Community Service and 2005 Texas Monthly magazine
"Texas Real Estate Super Agents".
Team work and customer
service are top priorities to Michael. He was
in the mortgage business in Houston for several
years. Working hand in hand with real estate
professionals made the transition to real estate an
easy one. Of course being married to his
Broker didn't hurt!

Liz moved to La Grange
with her family from Houston in 1978. She
might as well be a La Grange native having graduated
from La Grange High School and having worked
throughout the community since moving here.
She has been working in the real estate industry
since 1998 and decided she needed to make the next
step and get her real estate license.
Liz has 3 children,
Victoria, Skyler and Ali currently attending school
in La Grange. Needless to say they keep her
running in every direction with school activities so
her knowledge of the schools, teachers, sports, etc.
is quite extensive.

Walter grew up in La Grange and has been a part of
this community for more years than he would like to
admit. After graduating from the University of Texas
in 1972, Walter went to work for the State Treasury
Department during which time he obtained his real
estate sales license. Walter moved back to La Grange
when he was offered a job at National Bank & Trust,
a local financial institution and has worked for
that same bank for over 28 years. Walter has been
very active in the community having served as a
councilman for the City of La Grange and has served
as president of many local civic organizations.
Having had a real estate license for over 30 years
and with his local knowledge of the area, Walter
looks forward to getting serious about helping
others achieve their dreams in real estate. “One
reason I joined Hart Land was because of their
attention to detail always making sure that real
estate laws are adhered to and that clients get the
very best service possible whether buying or
selling. Having come from a business where
compliance laws are critical, applying those same
ethics and practices to real estate will almost be

environment with nesting boxes, food, water and
shelter for native Texas wildlife. I’d be happy to
teach you about the process, as well! When I’m not
selling real estate, I enjoy gardening and camping.

After
earning her BS degree in Political Science from
Texas A&M University, Kayla began working in Houston
as an Account Manager focusing in brand marketing
for Techtronic Industries. While working at
Tectronic, Kayla specialized in building
relationships with her corporate accounts & was
recognized as the top salesman in her department
every year. The experience & training she was able
to gain while working for this international company
have proven to be invaluable. Techtronic definitely
set the groundwork for launching her professional
sales career.
In
2009 Kayla married a third generation “La Grange
boy” & now calls Fayette County home. Shortly
thereafter her corporate sales career headed in a
new direction & Hart Land Real Estate welcomed her
aboard! Her experience in sales and enjoyment in
working with people made real estate an obvious
choice for Kayla when it came to choosing a job in
her new “hometown” of La Grange, Texas.
Kayla
brings a wealth of enthusiasm & marketing knowledge
